good luck, dinosaur
SOME TIMES
by J Neve Harrington
#performance #research
good luck, dinosaur is one scene within SOME TIMES, which has also been performed as a standalone work (premiered 2020 at Fest en Fest, London).
SOME TIMES is a journey through different times. The parts touch on world-making through words, physics and chemistry (1: the raising of water by one degree) geological time and history (2: good luck, dinosaur), sociology, international relations, games and more (3: nations etc). The concerns of the project are around how fostering empathy for - and embodiment of -different scales and times can model different possibilities for being together in our current times: political movements, ecological events, social calendars...
Like sand tumbling down a dune; like a glacier breaking off; like a virus proliferating through a body; like a choreography falling apart.
